MFD Part 1 is the standard RCSI route. If you are eligible for the Dip PCD you may be able to skip Part 1 entirely and go straight to MFD Part 2 — it is worth asking before you enrol.

Successful completion leads directly to MFD Part 2
Dental specialists or holders of a multi-year master’s degree are exempt from Part 1 and may enter directly into MFD Part 2
